FOLD Logotype Animation

For this project, I had to develop a logotype for a made-up conference, publication, or performance. Here, I came up with “FOLD”, a conference for the crafty. The logotype was designed with the intention to be used in print, signage, and motion application so it is supposed to be able to suggest movement and change even when static.

With the idea of ‘arts and crafts’ in mind, I used the characteristics of origami to literally unfold and reveal the logotype.
