GlassRoots - Rebrand

GlassRoots is a non-profit organization in the city of Newark, New Jersey with the mission of transforming lives through the art of glass-making.

The final logo that I redesigned for the organization takes advantage of the typeface Archer to mimic the organic characteristics of glassblowing. The mark itself utilizes a continuous motion to demonstrate the process of the art. I also expanded the mark to transform into possible icons for the organization.

When tasked with expanding the brand identity that I had newly redesigned, I decided to take the brand into the form of an app. This app was designed with the kinds of services the organization offers in mind.

In the app, a user would be able to create their own profile in which they could browse and book classes with a calendar and learn about the kinds of activities that are taking place. There is also a shop section where the user could not only book classes but also buy items that were created at the studio and are available for purchase.

See the prototype in Invision.
